Lot Details
Attic, Greece, 5thC BCE. Terracotta earthenware squat ovoid body with a rounded base; banded foot ring, articulated shoulder, short neck and a flared cylindrical flattened rim; a strap handle rising from the shoulder to the neck. The whole excluding the base slipped with a black glaze. Cat. Note/Ref.: Broken and reattached. Fragmentary losses to shoulder. Fair.
